Experimental research in the UCY Robotics Lab also involves the development and testing of robot prototypes for different applications and also as an extension to theoretical research. Basic prototyping equipment is available in the lab. Full access is available to the MME Department’s machine shop, electronics workshop, and technical support. The machine shop is equipped with CNC milling machines, lathes and 3D printers.
